A former Chinese diplomat, Alfred joined Strategy XXI in March 2000, bringing with him a wealth of experience in international marketing and trade, particularly involving the US and China.  He has been a pioneer in adapting the tools of Western public relations practitioners to China, garnering visibility for corporate clients in national and regional media and implementing sophisticated government relations programs.

Before joining the team, Alfred worked as a Marketing Manager for Parson's & Whittemore Enterprises, a Forbes 500 company, where he developed new projects in China and Southeast Asia.

Alfred has a BA from Beijing University and an MA in international relations from Yale University.
