Chen Wei has been with Strategy XXI-Beijing since its establishment in April, 1997, specializing in issues and crises management, public affairs and media relations.  She has assisted corporate clients and trade associations with outreach to a wide range of government authorities, media outlets and other key stakeholders in China.

Prior to joining Strategy XXI, Wei worked with Burson-Marsteller’s  corporate practice in Beijing. Before that, she served in the Chinese foreign service, including four years as Vice Consul of Protocol at the Chinese Consulate General in New York City.

Wei is currently enrolled in the IEMBA program of Rutgers in China. She graduated from China Languages University with a B.A. in English and American Studies.
