We helped a multinational engineering and systems company to recall nearly 500,000 components in a variety of products distributed in over 30 countries.  We were brought in before the recall was announced and helped shape the company's response to regulators, customers, and the public at large. 

We developed and implemented internal and external communications, created processes to manage the recall effort globally, and contributed to corporate strategic planning efforts. In addition, we provided strategic advice on working with various regulatory bodies, including the Consumer Products Safety Commission in the US, RAPEX in the EU, and others in individual countries. We were able to help the company respond to, and satisfy the needs of, various stakeholders, while minimizing long-term brand damage, potential difficulties with regulators and legal action.
